Recruitment Information

Position
Full-time English teacher on a fixed-term contract, with the possibility of promotion to a permanent position.

Important Note

  • • These positions are for Lead Teachers who independently manage and conduct classes entirely in English, not as Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs).
  • • No assistance is provided by Japanese homeroom teachers.
Start Date
April 1, 2027 (Reiwa 9)
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Native English speaker
  • Daily conversational proficiency in Japanese.
  • A middle or high school English teaching license is acceptable.
  • Foreign applicants are not required to hold a Japanese teaching license.

We welcome candidates who are eager to contribute to all aspects of school life, including English instruction, homeroom support, student guidance, and school events.

Compensation & Working Conditions

Starting Salary
  • Bachelor’s degree: ¥227,000/month (including fixed allowances).
  • Master’s degree: ¥249,000/month (including fixed allowances).
  • Final salary amount will be determined based on experience and ability.
Allowances
Full transportation expenses provided.
Bonuses
Twice a year (July and December).

Working Hours
  • Junior and Senior High School: Mainly 8:30 AM – 5:50 PM
  • Annual variable working hours system applied.
Holidays & Leave
  • 115 days per year (based on school calendar)
  • Annual paid leave, condolence leave, and more.
Retirement
Age 60 (with a reemployment system available).
Benefits
Private school mutual aid, various social insurances, and regular health check-ups.
Employment Term
  • One year or until the following March 31.
  • Contract renewal may be possible.

Selection Process

The selection process will be conducted on a rolling basis and will close once the planned number of hires is reached.
